Great summer stay in Bridgton!
Stayed here with spouse & 2 teens as part of an unseasonably warm mid August 4 day visit with old friends who own a house down the road. Linens & dishes were all in brand new condition - we didn’t find ourselves needing anything for the meals we cooked at the house ! Grill looked awesome although we didn’t have the chance to use. It was a treat to have paper towels, TP, soap, grill gas, laundry soap, etc provided. The furnishings are comfortable. The selection of books & games at the house was amazing and covered all ages. We also loved the comfortable glass/window enclosed back porch with its private wooded view, and found ourselves drinking our coffee out there to start our days! This would be a great place to stay in the winter as well - there’s a ski tuning bench, drying racks, and storage space for skis & gear downstairs! Location is extremely close to both Shawnee main & East lodges as well as Moose Pond and an easy drive to Bridgton. We would totally stay here again. Thanks!

A great place to stay in the Lakes Region
This is a great place to stay. The house is so clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. We especially enjoyed reading and relaxing on the screened porch and being a short walk away from the lake. It's 10 minutes from downtown Bridgton, but also close to a Pleasant Mountain trailhead, which we enjoyed hiking. We were there in the summer, so didn't ski, but it's super close to Shawnee Peak. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Clean spacious well equipped home
This home was very clean, it was well equipped with everything you need. My son enjoyed the crayons, markers, and games that were available. The house has access to a nice beach area in the neighborhood. It was very convenient to hiking trails and to Bridgeton.

Peaceful, bucolic location
We had a pleasant, relaxing time at this house which is near Shawnee Peak, not far from the NH border. Since it was summer, we enjoyed the warm weather, the nearby pond (more like a lake based on its size), and hiking in the nearby mountains. The whole process from check in to check out was highly efficient. The house was clean, well organized, and had a kitchen sufficient to create an excellent meal for the four of us (and a gas grill on the outside deck). This is a house where the ground level is for cars and storage and the kitchen is on the first floor above ground along with one bedroom and a large living room. There are two more bedrooms upstairs. The location is great with about 10 minute walk down to the pond (two options for entry including one that is good for canine creatures). The nearby mountains are great for hiking. The town is several miles drive away so there is a nice feeling of release from urban life although in reality the town is very quiet.
