Cozy retreat in the heart of Northstar village. Loft includes a complete kitchen, living room with sleeper sofa, breakfast nook, balcony, sleeping areas with a wall partition, and two bathrooms. Accommodates up to 5 people. There's a king, full and twin size bed. Steps from shops, restaurants and the slopes. Washer and dryer on premises. Includes covered parking space and access to the NPOA Fitness Center for a small fee per person. The fitness center has multiple pools, jacuzzis, complete gym, showers and lockers.

Great location!!!

The condo was nice and location was great!! I was just disappointed that they didn’t mention that a dog is usually in the condo. My husband and kids are allergic and we had dog hair all over us from the blankets. Beds were nice and comfortable, the boys enjoyed the bunk beds. Overall, we had a great experience with the condo. Like I said can’t beat the location at all. Short walk to Gondola from the condo. When you walked out of the building from the elevator on the 1st floor, the village market is right there across the way. The communication from Vrbo and/or the home owner could had been better.

Property was fine and as represented. GREAT location! Really disappointed in the extra $700+ in fees from VRBO and the Management company VACASA. VACASA was AWFUL to deal with, and I will avoid them at all costs going forward.

Still waiting for refund - and response to emails

This place did not have sufficient heating. Was told 30mins before arrival that the fireplace didn't work. Nor did the thermostat. Was told to use the space heater. It was 3 degrees outside and we have three young children. We asked for the heating to be fixed but were told they couldn't get someone in until after we left. We asked for, and we told we would receive, a partial refund. Since we have left, we have not heard from the company in response to our email and VRBO message and have no confirmation of a refund. We hope this can be resolved. I recommend anyone who is looking at this property to get confirmation that the heating is working before they book.

Great summer time stay in Tahoe

The condo in Northstar was perfect for our summer weekend get away in Tahoe. We really appreciated and took advantage of the recreation pool area, a big plus.

Clean and close to everything

Conveniently located at the heart of the village, the condo is close to everything, 2 minute walk to gondola, 1 minute to the recreation center with spa, swimming pool and game room. The grocery store and a couple of restaurant is right downstairs from the condo. The condo is maintained clean and management team responded timely. One thing to note, the two bedroom on the loft don't have sound isolation from the living room. So you can't have much privacy from other group member. Be mindful about adult activity at nights if you have kids.

Great locations, good for families

Location was unbeatable - in the village and walking distance to the slopes, amenities. Kitchen was also very well equipped. Bedrooms are loft-style, with openings to downstairs -- our kids have different sleep schedules so the noise level was a bit tricky to navigate. Parking is covered in carpark, but spots are tight for larger vehicles.

Killer location! Great for adults but not the best for small children/elderly

Overall we had a wonderful experience and would recommend! *** A few things to consider*** -The upstairs bedrooms have a long cutout running along the wall that is open to the downstairs. This is a high risk opening for small kids! The bunk bed is against this wall with the opening 1 foot above the lower bunk bed. I would recommend a photo of this from upstairs in the bedroom in the booking. -upstairs is accessed by a spiral staircase, again not pictured and potentially hazardous for small children/ elderly. -not for light sleepers if sharing the space. The “window” cutout allows downstairs noise to echo up into the rooms. Amenities are unmatched and the accessibility to Northstar and the condos club was EXCELLENT! Must take advantage of the condo club which is just across the parking lot. This is perfectly priced for what you get, I just wished I had a few more photos so I knew what to prepare for.

Very dissatisfied.

We arrived in the evening to find lights in the kitchen burned out and a huge hair ball dangling from the spiral staircase. We sat on the sofa and it was so broken down you sank to the ground when you sat on it. One of the sectionals was missing a leg. I began trying to fluff the cushions on the sofa and found the sofa filthy underneath the cushions. We called management and they sent someone over to replace the burned out bulbs and vacuum the sofa. We requested to move , but due to the holiday weekend no other units were available. We checked some other properties for availabity with no success. I'm still waiting to hear back from property management regarding a partial refund. It's been nearly a week since we checked in. I would not recommended this property!!!! Sadly this could be a great condo, North Star Village is nice and located close to some beautiful sights along Lake Tahoe.

Great location but not with small kids

The place was clean and the living space was big enough for our family of four, with 2 young kids. We stayed during Covid, so we couldn't take advantage of the village, but the pool was great, a short walk and open by reservation. A few stars lost for: 1) the bedrooms are small and got cramped in the summer. The AC up there is good but loud in just one room. There are openings in the wall in the upstairs bedrooms that overlook the living area, which is not great when you have kids to put to bed! The opening is right next to the bottom bunk which was scary for kids to sleep there. 2) The walls are pretty thin and there was loud music and parties next door until late a few nights. 3) The place is on the third floor and the elevator is broken - something I wasn't aware of. We stayed a week and lots of up and down trips on the stairs with masks and kids made it tough. 4) it would have been nice to know a few more things about the place ahead of time - for example, reservations for the pool were already booked for the week before we even got there, so we had to stay on top of it to squeeze in. The elevator being broken would have been good to know. Overall, if no kids and staying for a weekend, it would be a good, clean, decent spot.

It should have been noted in the listing that the condo was on the 3rd floor and NO Elevator!!!

Nice property but the no elevator service is stupid! I am all up for exercise but really? 50 plus steps from the garage to the room with luggage!

Elevator not working

Upon arrival elevator was not working. Our rental was on the 3rd floor. Our stay was for a week. There was no one around for assistance. Security told us it’s probably being used and stuck on another floor. I checked every floor and it was not working. I called again and no answer. I went to their office and no answer. There was no one to contact at all.

Perfect

We couldn't ask for anything more. Everything was perfect. It was actually bigger than expected. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days. Everything was nice and clean. Clean bathrooms and kitchen. Clean bedroom. You don't need anything more for a ski week. You hit the nail on the head with this one. Good job!

Honeymoon

It was great .We went hiking and mountainbiking. We had all we needed to cook our meals .Only downside was the elevator was not working for 5 of the 8 days we were staying there. But the condo was great and clean .I would definitely recommend this place.
