Austin is foodie and live music heaven, and one of the hippest but still relaxed destinations in America. Eleven-year-old well-built and quiet single-family home, well-appointed with gourmet kitchen in Mueller Community in red-hot East Central Austin. Few minutes' drive, bus, or bike from all that's interesting in Austin. 3 miles from downtown and 2 to UT. Very walkable and bikeable neighborhood with lots to do. Master bedroom downstairs with king-sized "Marriott bed", double sinks and garden tub with separate shower. Three bedrooms upstairs - one with bunk beds (twin), one with queen bed, third with twin Tempur-Pedic mattress in large bedroom. Office, piano, open floor plan downstairs with 60-inch smart TV with Apple TV+ provided.

Public golf, tennis, basketball, swimming pools, parks, running trails within a block to 1/2 mile. Can walk to numerous highly rated restaurants, pubs, Thinkery children's museum, ice cream, grocery stores, farmer's market (Sunday morning and Wednesday evening), two pools, basketball courts, parks, and Alamo Drafthouse movie theater.

Sights/Activities: Austin City Limits festival, SXSW festival, Thinkery children's museum, Bullock TX History Museum, Blanton Museum of Art, Barton Springs natural swimming hole, state Capitol, hundreds of live music venues downtown, kayaking/canoeing/jogging/biking at Lady Bird Lake downtown, dining out on one of the country's best food scenes, world's largest urban bat colony. San Antonio and its' Riverwalk 1.5 hours away. Tubing on the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers 30 mins to 1 hour away.

A lovely home in a fantastic neighborhood of Austin

This house has a ton of space, and this location would work really well for 1-2 couples with kids or 4-5 individual adults. The owners were extremely thoughtful and provided us with a bunch of bottled water when a boil order was issued shortly before our stay. The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance of several great restaurants and bars. Highly recommended!
