About this property

This property is a wonderful ranch home. There are two bedrooms with open concept living room/kitchen area. Cathedral ceilings with exposed beams. Radiant heated floors throughout for those chilly mornings and nights which make it rentable year-round. It also has a pellet stove to add to the peacefulness and comfort of your stay.
It is a stone's throw away from the beautiful, clear, sandy bottomed lake. A great place for the kids to play, get in your kayak, or just sit and relax. This home is centrally located to the ocean, Lake Winnipesaukee, the White Mountains, ski areas and access to nearby snowmobile trails.
In the fall, come to New England, stay in the area, take a weekend break and enjoy the vibrant colors of the leaves and all the fall season has to offer. In the winter (November - April) come for a week (Friday to Friday) snowshoe, snowmobile, or head to the nearby ski areas.
For those rainy days, this home is furnished with a game room downstairs. This has a Wii, DVD player and a foosball table to enjoy.

Great weekend stay!

My family and I had a nice, comfortable weekend stay. The property was clean and we had plenty of room for our 3 teenage boys, my husband and I. The neighborhood is quiet and the house was easy to find.

Great Spot

This was my second stay at this location and it provided everything needed for my trip. Nice quiet area near the lake and close to Alton Bay where I was meeting some friends. Deb provided clear instructions and check out/in were nice and easy.

Comfortable spot near the lake

Perfect little getaway

My wife and I were in the area for a wedding and were lucky enough to find this wonderful spot to stay. Convenient, cozy and just what we needed. Would have welcomed an extra few days to stay, what with the beautiful lake I walked to each morning with a hot cup of tea and the gorgeous countryside in all directions, but our sitter could only handle 4 kids on her own for so long! Thanks to Deb for the clear communication and flexibility to meet our needs.

Great house for our vacation!

First of all, Debbie is great to work with! This was our first Vrbo rental and it couldn't have gone better. The house was perfect for our needs. A little remote but then we wanted to be on/near the lake and this was perfect. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and we didn't get all the lake time we wanted but when we did, it was wonderful. The house had everything that we could ask for. Debbie's attention to detail made our trip so easy and enjoyable! Right down to being able to do laundry before we came home. There were a bit more neighbors than the picture indicates but we only came across one when he offered to help us get the grill started when he heard we were having trouble. Worked fine once we figured out we needed to use the lighter. If we ever came back to the area, we would definitely rent this house again. Thanks Deb!

Clean, well equipped, lake access

I stayed at this property for a girls weekend. We were looking for water access with rest and relaxation. The home was very clean and well equipped. I had no issues finding the address and entering the property was straight forward. I assumed the lake access was almost directly on the property and private by the photos shown but in fact it’s about a 3 to 4 minute walk. We did spend one day sitting by the lake and we were pleased that we were the only guests on a Saturday in August. The water was clear and there is walk in access which was nice. We did have an unexpected emergency situation while here one evening and Debbie was helpful in assisting us and checking in the next day.

Great Spot!

Was up for a quick getaway and enjoyed my stay greatly! I had to travel to the Laconia/Gilford and just over the border into Maine and this was a great centralized location. This was a great place to come back to and relax and would definitely book again if travelling to the area.

The house was fine and clean. Missed a dishwasher and a nice deck ot terrace to sit outside. There were chairs but not really a place to sit.

Short Stay

We visited this location recently for a quick weekend trip. There were four of us that were staying in the house and there was plenty of beds and comfortable space. It is a small walk down the road to the lake access, there are limited spots to park if the car is needed to bring down. The water was clean, but not clear. Unfortunately, there is no sand or spots to sit in this area. We traveled up to the Winnepesaukee lake about 30 minutes north to find restaurants another lake access spot for public, swimming and enjoyment. The home provided what we needed during our stay.

Great little place!

Very good experience, the house was very nice. The neighbor right next door was very friendly. The owners were responsive and very frienldy. The roads getting there are a little tricky, but not too bad. My only slight complaint is, and its nothing big, is that your neighbors are very close. The pictures kind of gave the impression that there was a little more privacy. Overall it was a wonderful trip and would highly recommend.
