About this property

very private. sits on a great fishing pond, we have paddle boats, , kayaks, plenty of life jackets, and a large fire pit with Adirondack chairs around. have an outside covered bar with water and power, it is close to the fire pit and it has a large gas grill for your convenience. creeks surround the anchor, and is very cozy at night with fire burning. we also offer an outdoor theater for movies, slides, or games. will need to be ask ahead of time to set up projector. the two bedrooms sleep 9, and the living room has pull out couch and two pull out chairs that will accommodate 4 extra giving a total of 20, double beds placed side by side for couples. Come on down To Pea Ridge and bring your fishing poles and enjoy the peacefulness of the "The Anchor" and the seclusion and privacy .

Best Stay

This is our second year in row and we had same feelings like last year that we could stay here for lil longer to enjoy all the good things this place offers. Joette the host is super welcoming and always there to make your stay feel like your second home. Visiting this place has become a tradition for our volunteer group from now on. Thank you Joette!!

Excellent place for small youth group who likes to be outdoors!

Plenty of outdoor activities for a group who enjoys being outside: fishing, kayaking, games... far enough away to be away, but close enough to what you may need.

Emanuel Community Church Youth Retreat

We had a wonderful time. The property gave our youth so many fun things to keep them entertained, and no one once said they were bored! They even left their phone inside the house most of the weekend. We enjoyed the ponds, kayaks and zip line! It is a very quiet location and tons of land for the youth to enjoy. The house was very clean and worked for our group. The only “complaint” (not really a problem for us but wanted to note for others) was that it did not have quite as many bunk beds, and the sleeping situation is slightly different than shown in the pictures online in regards to bed sizes when bringing your own linens. We will definitely be staying here again!

Always a great time

This is our second time renting the Anchor. It once again was a great experience. The group utilized everything available. We had a great time fishing, kayaking, grilling, and hanging out in the open space that this rental offers. This property will always be a place on our list of get away locations for our church group.

I built this cabin for our church youth to have a place to camp and fish, and swim, paddle boats, bring your fishing gear and catch enough for dinner. A Huge fire pit beside an outside kitchen to grill and roast marshmallows, or tell stories by the fire. we invite you to visit and get to know us and enjoyed our cabin. we have plans to expand in the future. we are in the process of adding bunkhouses to the property so that the house will have plenty of room for the adults to enjoy.
