Lousy Access Poor Communication

Come on SINGLE PLY toilet paper!!!! Really??!! Access is squeezing by 2 parked cars with maybe 10” to spare. No Electric outlets by the bed for charging. Couldn’t get any reply to communication. Packets of creamer were rock hard and wouldn’t dissolve in the hot coffee even. Porch was dirty. Rocking chairs were dirty. Good: - Clean inside - Coffee pot with k cups - plenty of towels and wash rags - shampoo/cream rinse - comfortable beds -were able to park our 2 cars on the street out front

The House Behind the Home

The property was very clean and spacious. It was in a central location to downtown, which made it very easy to commute to and from the French Quarter and Convention Center. There were two things that I didn’t like. The 1st is the house sits behind another house and is separated by a courtyard. The courtyard was beautiful. However, I didn’t know that I would need to walk down an alley to access the house. The 2nd issue is if the neighbors in the house in front locks the side gate, you can not access the house. That actually happened and my husband had to jump the gate and unlock it so that we could get to the house. Other than that the house was great and the manager responded to our needs quickly.

Great Location and Amenities

Location-wise it is literally down the street from the French Quarter. Most places you want to visit are .5 to .7 mi. walking but on a decent day it's easy to do. If you aren't in to walking it's a $6 Uber or Lyft ride. Our family had a great time...the rooms were large and the amenities are like brand new. The beds needed a bit of work they don't come with bed springs so it mattress on slats, at least that's the 2 beds upstairs. Again we absolutely enjoyed our stay! Everything was there the little courtyard in the middle was great for hanging out. We would definitely stay here again! The reason why I could only give it 4 stars not 5 were few: -The WiFi is terrible. IF you need to do a ton of work then perhaps this isn't the place BUT if you are going to get away from it all then this really doesn't matter right!? -Some kitchen necessities were missing like a baking sheet- minor stuff here really but just realize if you are intending to prepare meals there you could be missing a couple things. Again overall very very nice place, great location and yes we would absolutely stay here again!
