The Cottage at Fourth and Elm is located in the historic district of Downtown Washington only four short blocks from the AmTrak Train Station and walking distance to many shops, bars, and restaurants. The home was built around 1860. The first floor consists of a spacious living room addition built in 1925 with a fireplace and cable TV, a half bath, a full service kitchen with a breakfast nook, and dining room that seats up to eight people. The second level consists of three large bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is also a stair lift for those needing assistance getting up and down the stairs. The home has original woodworking and spacious 12-foot ceilings throughout. The home also has a large screened in porch and a two-car covered carport. It’s a great setup for outdoor activities.
