New sectional and sofa in living room. Clean and cute! Great for couples or family. Close (1 mile) to Crystal Mountain, a Four Season Resort. Skiing/Boarding, Cross Country Skiing, Golf, Biking, Spa, Fishing, Snowmobiling, Trail System, and Betsie River nearby. Full kitchen (let us know if we could use something), washer/dryer, 1 car attached garage, deck with country views, peaceful setting with room for the kids to play in the huge backyard.

Great stay close to Crystal Mountain!
Jen and Ken were super easy to work with. A few days before our stay I inquired if they had a crockpot and cheese shredder at the rental and they were waiting on the countertop when we arrived. The rental was super clean and the sheets were soft. There is a queen bed and a bunk bed in each bedroom which was perfect for our family of five. We had plenty of room. It is also the perfect location for skiing at Crystal Mountain which we did on Saturday and Sunday without having to pay the high Crystal Mountain prices. We will definitely stay here again if we head north for skiing next year.

Property exceeded our expectations!
My family has a home on the south shore of Crystal Lake, but we needed more sleeping room this weekend. I contacted ken and Jen asking about the accommodations and rate. I received a response within 10 minutes with answers to all of my questions. Upon arrival the property was immaculate, well appointed, and welcoming( thank you for the wonderful welcome basket!). The beds. Pillows, sectionals, and towels were comfortable and clean. There is one bathroom but it comes with lots of towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion is very large sizes. The washer and dryer were put to use ( we brought detergent/dryer sheets but they are also provided). The kitchen has everything we needed and more. Jen and ken answered our texts within minutes about the water. This is the best place to stay for any season.

We are a couple from Mount Pleasant that loves this area. We are avid skiers, cyclists and love to travel. We love Crystal Mountain and all it offers, but also love Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, Frankfort, Traverse City and the wineries, Lake Michigan, and just exploring all around!

Why they chose this property

Our grandparents owned a home in Copemish and Ken is a ski patroller at Crystal Mountain. Our family has loved this area for many years, since there is so much to do! Our home is simple, but has all the amenities that you could need. If there is anything that you might need, please ask! We are a few miles away and want you to enjoy your stay and have the best time possible! We are new to Vrbo and want the best possible experience for all!

What makes this property unique

Our home has brand new comfy beds and bedding, shampoo, conditioner, a hair dryer and make up wipes, along with a washer and dryer. We recently installed a tankless water heater, fans and an air conditioner. The views out of our backyard are beautiful. You will see birds, deer and more wildlife while still being very close to all of the upper Michigan attractions!
