Useful base to exploring the Falkirk area

This is a lovely apartment which is comfortable and well appointed. Set in a semi-rural area but with easy access to the motorway and local attractions. Highly recommended.

Schöne Ferienwohnung, ruhige Lage und sehr nette Vermieter

Das Appartment ist sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Grundprodukte wie Salz, Pfeffer, Öl und Kaffee waren vorhanden. Sogar Brot, Butter und Aufschnitt für ein erstes Abendessen wurden bereitgestellt. Die Lage wurde als sehr schön und ruhig empfunden. Die Ferienwohnung ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zum Falkirk Wheel, nach Stirling, für Städtetrips nach Edinburgh und Glasgow (mit dem Auto oder dem Zug) und für einen Besuchs des Nationalparks "Loch Lomond and the Trossachs". Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und stehen gerne für Fragen rund um die Wohnung und zu Ausflügen zur Verfügung. Für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung wurden sogar Fahrräder zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir hatten ein sehr schöner Urlaub!

Comfortable and well-presented studio appartment just north of Glasgow

An ideal base from which to visit and enjoy local attractions including the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies. The property has good links to both Glasgow and Edinburgh either by car or by train. Train stations are a few miles way from the property. The compact studio accommodation is very comfortable for two reasonably fit adults - fitness required to climb the external stairs to the accommodation. Owners are very welcoming and make themselves available on a discreet basis to advise on local attractions and places to visit. This is a beautiful area to visit and we would have no hesitation in recommending this particular property for a couple looking for a quiet, rural hideaway, with good access to cities, the countryside and local attractions.
