Cottage on the Causse Méjean,

In the heart of a small Caussenard village on the Causse Méjean (listed as World Heritage by UNESCO), the Cardabelle gîte is ideally located on the edge of the Cévennes National Park and the Tarn Gorges.
About 10 'from Sainte Enimie, 15' from La Malène and 25 'from Florac and Meyrueis you can take full advantage of the various activities and cultural visits. You will be charmed by the magnificent and wild landscapes of Causse Méjean, this, island ’surrounded by the Gorges du Tarn and de la Jonte.
 
Whether you are athletic, nature lover, curious or just want to relax and laze around, you are sure to find something to satisfy you.
 
Sports activities: Hiking, swimming, canoeing and kayaking, horse riding, trail running, mountain biking, gliding, climbing, speleology, canyoning, paddling, tree climbing….
 
"Cultural" activities: Animal parks (bison, wolves, etc.), Belvedere and vulture museum, Micropolis (the world of insects), Hielzas eco-museum farm, etc.

The cottage consists of a house renovated by us that will offer you all the comfort you need for a pleasant stay (possibility of short stays). Beekeepers and having a small breeding of Galloway and horses we will welcome you with pleasure in our cottage and will be happy to talk with you about our region and our passions.
 
It consists of a large main room on the ground floor with terrace (table, chairs and parasol):
- equipped kitchen: Oven, microwave, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, gas hob, toaster, kettle, etc.
- Dining Area,
- Sitting area: sofa bed B Bultex mattress), coffee table, television, DVD player, books, games…
- an independent WC with washing machine.
 
Upstairs :
- 1 bedroom with 140 cm bed, wardrobe, bedside tables,
- 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds of 90, 1 bed of 120, wardrobe, bedside table,
- 1 shower room with shower cubicle, bathroom furniture, wc, blower, hairdryer.

Possibility to rent bikes with Mellow bike (la Cazelle (for the duration of your stay or for a day.
 
Enclosed patio with barbecue, garden table and chairs, deckchairs and parasol.
 
Children can access the trampoline and the swing, under the responsibility of their parents, located in our garden. They will be delighted to see our hens and rabbits. We welcome our rider friends and their horses. These will be in individual paddocks (possibility of a single park) and will have water and hay. The pension per horse is 6 € per day for any stay of one week. For short stays the price is 10 €.
For stays of one week or more, sheets are provided free of charge, otherwise for shorter stays count 8 € per pair of sheets.

Un must pour découvrir la région
Agréable maisonnette au coeur du causse Méjean, bien équipée et idéalement située pour découvrir les environs. Les propriétaires sont très gentils, accueillants et adorent parler de leur région. Génial pour les enfants, nos deux filles (dont 1 bébé de 18 mois) se sont régalés avec les animaux et Fripouille :) , le village est très calme et offre une réelle convivialité. Merci encore pour tout! Vincent, Jessie, Chloé et Naïs.

Super séjour sur le causse mejean
Excellent accueil, gite très confortable , bien équipé et très bien situé , la région est superbe. Les propriétaires sont adorables , il est très agréable d'échanger avec eux.

Maison de village simple. La robinetterie de l'évier de la cuisine est à revoir ainsi que les moustiquaires aux fenêtres. On aurait aimé trouver du produit pour le lave vaisselle ainsi que pour le lave linge.
