THE BAULE

A seaside resort on the Côte d’Amour bordering the Atlantic Ocean, Baie Le Pouliguen – La Baule-Pornichet joined the Club of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World in November 2011.

• History: Saint-Aignan church. 1866: designed in neo-Gothic style by the architect Benjamin Ricard, it was built on the site of the old church destroyed in a fire in 1861.
