Our Cottage Dream with a View

Welcome to our cottage dream. The cottage is a two bedroom that can sleep 6. It is located on Reelfoot Lake, known for its fishing, hunting and wildlife. There are two boat launches, a store, boat rental, fishing and hunting guides within walking distance. It is very relaxing and peaceful. We are within 20 minutes of restaurants, grocery stores, visitors center and a beach. There is no swimming in Reelfoot. We are an hour north of Memphis and about 2 hours west of Nashville.

Nice family get away
The Cottage Dream is comfortable. Located close to the water. The driveway is very difficult to access especially with having a boat/trailer. We couldn't really set outside and enjoy our view as it shares a firepit with a private hunt club and they had several members there while we were there. The cottage had plenty of space for our family. There is no wi-fi and very poor phone service, which was kind of nice to be off the grid for a few days. Could have been cleaner though. There were cobwebs in several rooms, the kitchen and bathroom floor was dirty. The nearby bait shop owners were very nice and helpful. Overall we did have a good time.

I wanted to find a place on the water that I can retire to. We have worked for five years on the house remodeling the inside and making it our own. We have recently added an all season room that faces the lake and updated the kitchen.
We love our house and hope that you enjoy it too and respect it as you would if it was yours.
It is not fancy but very comfortable.

I picked this house because it is one of the most peaceful places I have ever been. I love the people that we meet and how they make us feel like we have lived there our entire life.
