This 75m² apartment is located on the 3rd floor (no elevator) of a former palace. In 1861, the first seaside palace, Hôtel Franklin, was built on the Sillon in Saint-Malo. Inside, the building is organized into interior galleries opening onto a glass-topped atrium. You'll enjoy a large living room, a bright living room, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a shower room. This beautiful apartment has a parking space.

The apartment comprises
- A large, bright living room with double exposure: view of the basins, Intra-Muros and on the side a side view of the sillon beach looking out of the window.
- A modern, fully-equipped kitchen with a high table for coffee or breakfast. Looking out the window, you'll see the national fort and the beach.
- 2 beautiful bedrooms: one spacious with a 180cm bed, the other smaller with a 140cm bed.
- At the end of the corridor is a brand-new, very modern shower room, as well as a room equipped for laundry, with washing machine.

The area:
In the Sillon district, you're just one block from the main beach on foot, as well as from all amenities. And a 2-minute walk from the Intra-Muros historic center, or the Palais des Congrès and Espace Duguay Trouin if you're coming for work.

Entertainment:
- Numerous bars and restaurants within walking distance, including the Dock on the quayside. A loft atmosphere in this industrially decorated building.
- La Cabane sur les quais offers an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet.
- Tombelaine Coquillage offers the best seafood platters to take away.
- Intra-Muros and chaussée du sillon offer a wide range of restaurants, some of them right on the waterfront.
- Check out the view over Saint-Malo from the top of the Ambassadeur Hotel with its Rooftop (hotel rooftop bar).

Food:
Walk along the seafront and 700 meters down rue St Vincent you'll find a Carrefour Market for your shopping needs. An Intermarché is 1.5km away on foot from the quays. Rue de l'Orme Intra Muros, behind the halle aux blés, with its fishmonger, the famous Bordier butters and cheeses, a delicatessen... and many very good addresses.

Transportation:

L'accueil lors de la remise des clefs était parfait, par contre la propriété est en dessous de mes espérances: L'immeuble entier est en pleine rénovation, l'appartement situé au troisième étage , sans ascenseur ( plus de 80 marches à gravir) est largement assez grand pour 2 couples , mais les finitions laissent largement à désirer, et le titre accrocheur de " vue sur mer " de l'annonce doit être traduit par : vue sur mer en la cherchant bien, et en se penchant par l'une des fenêtres du salon ou de la cuisine . Par contre la vue sur le bassin est présente mais n'ai pas des plus intéressante. La situation est bonne, près du centre ville et de la plage. Mais cela ne justifie en aucune façon le prix élevé de cette location, qui manque de standing , surtout que bien fini cette appartement pourrait être magnifique.

Séjour aux portes de Saint-Malo intra-muros.
L’appartement est très bien situé. La vue sur le bassin n’est pas sensationnel mais dépaysante. La surface de l’appartement est très bien pour 4 personnes. L’appartement est en bon état mais la finition des travaux est de moyenne facture. Une place de stationnement est réservée aux occupants du logement ce qui est un plus dans une zone à stationnement payant. Les sols du logement n’étaient pas propres lors de notre arrivée. Beaucoup de poussière sous les meubles et du sable dans toutes les pièces. Le nettoyage des sols ne peut être réalisé correctement à cause d’un aspirateur très bas de gamme qui n’aspire pas ou très peu et qui n’est pas manœuvrable. Les matelas sont satisfaisants cependant ils ne sont pas recouverts de draps housses mais de simple draps qui provoquent un inconfort au milieu de toute vos nuits (même lorsque vous refaites votre lit tout les jours) et vous finissez par dormir à même le matelas (en termes d’hygiène on fait mieux). Les oreillers sont bons marchés et les lavages successifs leur ont fait perdre le peu de galbe qu’ils ont peut-être eu un jour. En un mot les nuits ne sont pas réparatrices. C’est dommage lorsque vous êtes en vacances... Une prestation moyenne dans un appartement de moyenne facture.
