Excellent Family Stay

Arrival and check-in and check-out easy and seamless. Location was perfect to enjoy beach life and Sarasota. We were also impressed with the security and staff. Friendly and accommodating. We plan to come back

Siesta Key beach is absolutely beautiful. Palm Bay Club is also a wonderful place based on location and pier. The condo itself needs some work. The front door was broken on arrival. The screen ripped open and the molding torn. There were roaches in the bedroom, there were no beach towels and checking in through a management company is very inconvenient. They are firm on check in and are in no rush to accommodate an early check in even if traveling with a handicap person. I will only book with Palm Bay Club directly in the future.

Check-in confusing + other things

We had to check in at two different offices. Not clear. Walked around for 2 hours before realizing the check in process was at 2 different places. Also there is a large damage deposit held but not disclosed until check-in. Description was not clear that there was no shared restroom. Both bathrooms were connected to bedrooms. Had to walk through someones bedroom to use the bathroom. Screen door had no handle and door frame came off every time you went in and out of the condo. But otherwise, lovely, safe, and clean. Good TV set up.

Decent - better description needed

We were not able to get into unit until 5:30pm on Saturday evening. Refrigerator was not working. Received a smaller refrigerator on Monday, new fridge on Tuesday. Bathroom sink would not drain well, could not run faucet for long. No resolution on faucet. Floors were not clean when we entered, bought a mop and did ourselves. Bathrooms are inside 2 of the bedrooms (1-king; 2-doubles; the queen room doesn't have a bathroom), not separate. If people are up late and others want to sleep, you must enter bedroom to use bathrooms. No laundry inside unit - public laundry down the way - 1 washer ($2); 1 dryer ($1). One parking space per unit. Loved that the beach provided beach chairs. 2 nice pools. Security is wonderful - systematically checks for wristbands at the pools. Gated entrance. Unit has coolers and a wagon to cart things to the beach - super helpful. Beach was beautiful and well maintained. Management company was responsive - simply had to call them a lot. Hard that we came the night before a holiday.

Great time

Palm Bay was a great resort. Both staff and other guests were very friendly. We enjoyed the bay views and pool. It was great to visit the beach and have chairs and lounges provided.
