Perfect private retreat hidden in a quiet cove. Located on the Hickory side of the lake near Viewmont with 250 feet of waterfront. The house is easy to get to and centrally located between Charlotte and Blowing Rock, NC with easy access to the mountains and Asheville. Close to local restaurants and shopping. The Hickory Furniture Mart is 8 miles away. Lenoir-Rhyne University just a little over 5 miles.

Bring your own boat or rent one nearby at the marina located just across the bridge. This cove is the favorite spot for the serious fisherman. A quick swim across the cove to the favorite sandbar hangout. This vacation property has a private dock that you may use to dock your watercraft and has a designated area to store your trailer during your stay.

The house is open with amazing views of the water from all the main living spaces which includes large living rooms on the main level as well as the downstairs level with large decks for lake viewing off both floors. Come relax and enjoy all that Lake Hickory has to offer. Perfect for those family gatherings. Access to garage, vintage trailer and boats restricted and not available. Beautiful home and a great location.

We had a great week at this beautiful home. The lake access was perfect with boat rentals only five minutes away. The surrounding area was very nice and had anything you need during your stay. The owners were fantastic as well, extremely easy to work with and very fast to answer any questions we had. We are already talking about coming back!

Originally born and raised in New England, recently relocated from Tampa, Florida to be closer to our daughter and her family. My husband, Tim, and I were fortunate enough to have been able to purchase this property in 2018. This is our dream lake house and feel so fortunate to be able to share this beautiful property with guests who can appreciate its serenity as much as we do. We look forward to one day making this our forever retirement home. Until then we invite you to enjoy it as much as we do!

Two separate distinct living areas. The lower level is perfect for the "younger generation" allow the adults to enjoy the main level of the home to themselves soaking in the upper deck views of the cove.
