Boasting an excellent second-row position within a beachside community, this classic raised beach house offers central common areas beneath a cathedral ceiling with two bedrooms and a full bath flanking each side. The ground level, with exterior access only, has one bedroom with en suite half bath. Additional features include sun room, sundeck and an outdoor enclosed shower with changing room.

HOUSEKEEPING / LINENS: All short-term stays include departure clean service, bed and bath linens, and beds made upon arrival. Linens and housekeeping service are additional costs for monthly stays.

LENGTH OF STAY: Saturday to Saturday in summer. Partial week stays may be considered for last minute bookings. Monthly winter rental inquiries are welcome.

DOG FRIENDLY: This Dog Friendly home invites you to bring the whole family. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their dog. Guests bringing a dog must make it known at the time of booking and will be required to pay additional rent. Maximum 2 dogs. Dogs are allowed on the beach during daylight hours and must be leashed.

LITCHFIELD BEACH: This primarily residential community has a laidback vibe with a lot to offer, including easy access to miles of pristine beach, creek access via a small public boat launch, lush Lowcountry scenic vistas as well as a few shops and restaurants within walkable distance. Grocery stores, art galleries, prominent golf courses, historic landmarks and more are within close proximity by car.

Wonderful Location & Space.... Technology ..Not So Wonderful

While the home itself was wonderfully located, had ample space, and a very tidy lower level I was taken aback by the lack of TVs and the quality of the televisions that were there. Don't get me wrong. When visiting the beach one doesn't go for the TV. However, the 2 TVs that were there (1 in the living room and 1 in only 1 bedroom) were absolute dinosaurs. I wish I had gotten a picture of the bedroom TV. It took a bit to warm up and then had graphics akin to the Oregon Trail 80s game. Did I mention that there was a high pitched noise when it ran? The living room may have been a flat screen, but that doesn't equate updated. Want to watch Netflix, sign into your tv subscriptions, catching your favorite football game? Don't count on it. The company was wonderful to work with and were very accommodating. We will just know to pack our own TVs next time.

Also 4 miles away is Brookgreen Gardens, another local treasure.
