BEAUTIFUL 2 BEDROOM 2.5 BATH WITH A BREATH TAKING VIEW OF THE GULF OF MEXICO AND THE PASS. King bed in Master, Double in second. Sleeper in Living area. The Grand Pointe complex is located right next to the Perdido Pass Bridge and on the most beautiful beach in America. Grand Pointe has a heated indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, hot tub and BBQ grill area. There is plenty of parking and easy elevator access to the unit. Beautiful view of Perdido Pass and Gulf of Mexico.

Disappointed

No one told us about the awful construction going on. The pool was inoperable the entire time we were there…. The vent-a-hood in our room didn’t work. The cast iron skillet was not clean… our unit was very nice but these things were not ok. We booked and spent that money not knowing that we were limited to what we could do. Very irresponsible on part of the managers for not reaching out.

Property itself was good. The major construction that was taking place that was never mentioned when booking or when checking in off site was a let down to say the least.

Good condo, great view & location

Very large porch with a great view of the ocean (facing due South) and the jetty/pass to the East. Master bedroom has sliding door to the porch (ocean side). The owner's closet had a broken lock (didn't bother us) and few other things needed minor maintenance (e.g. the lock to the sliding door on the porch) and I reported it to the management company. They offered to have it fixed during our stay but we didn't feel it was necessary.

Great location but needs updating

Grand Pointe is a fabulous property!! We had stayed here before and that is what encouraged us to book this unit. However…this unit (612) is in dire need up some updates. The cabinets looked awful, and living room furniture is in very bad condition, and the bed in the 2nd bedroom had been broken by someone prior to us renting the unit and was not usable. Again, the complex and beach were amazing and this unit had tons of potential with some TLC and updates.

Suggestions

Although the condo is in a great location Parking was terrible. I got a warning because I parked under the carport. Nobody told me I couldn’t. In previous years at other condos, we were allowed to park in owners spot. I think if I am paying for that week, and owner is not there why can’t you park there. Didn’t make sense to me. Plenty of parking open under carport but yet I had to wait for someone to leave so I could park in parking lot. Bedrooms need ceiling fans.
