The village of LE PIN:
Located near Uzès, in the perimeter of the future Garrigues de l'Uzège Regional Natural Park, in the heart of the Gard of Provence, LE PIN is a picturesque and typical village in the Mediterranean region. From Pont du Gard (20 minutes) to the Duchy of Uzès (15 minutes) via the Palais Des Papes and the Avignon Festival (30 minutes) and the Arenas of Nîmes (35 minutes), it is located in the heart of '' a region rich in culture over 2000 years old.
Preserved from industrial constructions, LE PIN is surrounded by nature on all sides and thus offers many activities such as forest walking, mountain biking, cycling on its hilly and winding roads, swimming (La Roque-sur-Cèze waterfall in 20 minutes), fishing, old car rides or quad biking in the forest.
In the heart of the Côtes du Rhône vineyard, it offers the disciples of Bacchus an incredible field of discovery. Explorers, in search of tasty but little-known wines, will not be able to overcome the fifty or so wine estates, located within 15 km of the village. As for gourmets fond of great wines, they will find within 35 km, the great vintages of Château Neuf Du Pape, the rosés of Tavel and Lirac and a little further the Gigondas vineyard.
Close to three famous valleys (La Cèze at 15 kms, Ardèche and Le Gardon at 25 kms), LE PIN is also at the gates of La Camargue, an hour from Aigues-Mortes, Grau du Roi, and Saintes Maries de la Mer.
