Two bedrooms; one with a king, one with a queen size bed. Well appointed with new stainless appliances, dog friendly, and a full size washer and dryer. Stay in comfort with all of the proximity to outdoor fun and civilized services.
Hello, I'm James! I'm a 4th generation Colorado native, outdoor enthusiast and medical professional. I have always loved the Arkansas River Valley and have been coming here since I was a little kid with my family. The valley has long been recognized as a place of abundance, beauty and healing. Cottonwood Hot Springs just up the road were revered by the indigeneous people as a healing sanctuary, and met there for treaties and to peacefully settle their differences. Zebulon Pike and his exploration party were saved from starvation upon finding the valley full of buffalo Christmas eve 1806. This place is good medicine.
Today you may find the same kind of therapeutic benefits, abundance, adventures and beauty. Still your mind by walking the trails or fishing the gold metal waters just 10 minutes out of the door. Get into that flow state paddling The Numbers and Browns Canyon or carving lines in the powder at Monarch and Cooper. Bike Trails and Hiking are here for every level of capability.
And you can bring your dog. There is a dog run on the property and an off leash dog park a couple hundred yards away. Your dog is welcome IF they are 100% housebroken non destructive and not excessive barkers. If you have doubts, please board your furry friend and spare yourself the drama. Dogs are not to be left alone in the condo or run.

There could not be a more accommodating host than James. He sincerely provides his guests with the best get-away vacation at his town home; from true concern for the comfort and relaxation of his guests, to his suggestions for area activities - his attention to detail is impeccable. James promptly answers any question you might have regarding his VRBO rental. The location of the rental is close to downtown Buena Vista, the Arkansas river,the multiple hot springs, skiing and many other outdoor adventure opportunities. I've stood atop most all of the Collegiate 14ers, rafted the Numbers, Brown's and Royal Gorge, biked & hiked, motored & camped many local trails and areas. I've soaked in the hotsprings at Cottonwood, Mt Princeton and Pagosa. I've skied every destination ski area in Colorado, and Buena Vista is Central to all of it. I love this place, and I think you will too. Please take care of my place, the community and the land. We are privileged to be able to come here. It is a treasure for those who seek beauty, nature and experiences that fill the soul. In short, its good medicine, take as often as needed.
