Welcome to the Moulin de la Motte Baudoin!
This former windmill of the late 19th century is perched on its rocky promontory and will surprise you with its breathtaking views of the valley and the Castle of Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher.
The mill is spread over 3 levels and a mezzanine. On the ground floor, you have a small kitchen with a wood stove, the 1st, the bathroom takes place, the second, the room with a double bed (160 cm) and finally a mezzanine under attic.

Très dépaysant

Propriétaire très sympa , le poêle avait et a allumé avant notre arrivée . Bien équipé . A noter les lits du haut sont peu accessibles pour des grands enfants . Les enfants ont adoré car à chaque fenêtre il y a une vue différente .

Déconnection et plus que ça !

Moulin vraiment très agréable. Un lieu qui permet de rompre avec le train-train habituel. Atypique, beau décor et... quel travail de restauration ! De plus ce beau coin de France regorge de visites de grand intérêt, des profondeurs des cavités souterraines productrices jadis du tuffeau et aujourd'hui de délicieux champignons, d'enthousiastes habitants de superbes maisons troglodytiques, de châteaux fastueux... sans parler de très bonnes tables. Il faut y aller !

Un ancien moulin à vent rénové en gite avec beaucoup de soin et de soucis du détail. Havre de paix, nous y avons vécu une parenthèse innattendue.

Gorgeous Windmill. Great Stay!

Just had 3 days in the Windmill. We'd love to stay again! Wonderfully quirky but well planned living areas. Lovely location on top of the hill giving gorgeous views across the countryside. Communication with Sandrine was faultless and her parents were so friendly and helpful too! She has other properties too built into the hill which are stunning! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
