An amazing home from home. Would definitely stay again!
Travelling with my brother, mum, daughter and nieces (10-15 years) This house really felt like a home. The communication with the owner was responsive and detailed. The house had everything we could need, including my favourite candles and ice cube trays that made ice cubes that fit into water bottles :) My mum's mobility is limited and the downstairs bedroom and bathroom meant she could relax and enjoy herself as well. There are some steps to the beach but she managed those just fine and was able to watch the kids play in the sea - something which has been a challenge over the last few years. The house is not huge, but the upstairs area gave the kids more than enough room to have their own space (and a sea view!). The proximity of the beach really does make the difference for us, and we would all return here. Thank you!

Fantastic house and location
Lindsay's house is a real home from home. Everything is there that you need from beach chairs to smart speakers, even a cool box for the beach. Games, DVD's, books and the garden comes alive at night by all the pretty solar lights. You can see the sea from the upstairs window and hear the waves at night. The private pathway leads from the garden directly to the beach which is a pebble beach but at low tide it is lovely and sandy with lots of rock pools for crabbing and safe for the little ones to paddle and jump the waves. We took Lindsay's advice and did the walk all the way along the beach from Pett to Hastings, being careful to watch the tide times, and to our amazement we discovered a colony of seals and cute fluffy seal pups, truly wonderful. Pett Level beach is amazing in itself, the 6000 year old forest becomes visible at low tide, with fossils and dinosaur footprints, even though we couldn't find them. Pett village is very pretty and the Two Sawyers pub is lovely. So many walks right on the doorstep, the best one being the nature reserve opposite the house, a lovely walk along the military canal all the way to Winchelsea. My boys loved climbing up to the old watch tower, built for the second world war. The house is so warm and cosy at night with a log burner in the living room and cosy, comfortable beds, very desirable after lots of walking and sea air. We didn't venture into the Beach Club next door but it was buzzing on Sunday afternoon with everyone sat outside. The garden is a real sun trap, South facing, it gets the sun all day and we thoroughly enjoyed the Webber BBQ in the evenings with glass of wine watching the sun go down. The contact before, during and after from Lindsay was excellent, always answering any questions I had. We would definitely return to Lindsay's house and hope to enjoy many more summers there.

Lovely little bungalow
Had a lovely time by the sea house well equipt and rooms clean and comfy. Worth noting no washing machine at the property unless we missed it? Also access out of property turning right is blind. Just need a mirror otherwise. Kids loved being by the beach would return! X
