Come stay at the beautiful Bella Vista cabin in the rolling hills of the Piedmont region in central Virginia! It's in a very quiet, secluded location, and is the perfect place to unplug and unwind! It is comfortably furnished for a restful and relaxing stay. There are two roomy bedrooms and one shared bath. Enjoy the sunrise from the timber frame patio, rock on the front porch, immerse yourself in a good book, or simply sit quietly and enjoy watching the wildlife. Spend some time cooking in the well-stocked kitchen or dine out and enjoy the local flavors! And, after a day of enjoying the historical area, soak your cares away in the spa or kick your feet up by the fire pit. If you feel like exploring, there are several easy walking trails through the surrounding forest and along the streams.
Bella Vista is located within minutes of the Appomattox Court House National Historical Park and other historical landmarks. We are 20 minutes from Holliday Lake State Park which offers hiking trails, swimming, boating, and fishing. We are 30 minutes from the beautiful city of Lynchburg, home of Liberty University. We are also 30 minutes from the lovely town of Farmville, home of Longwood University, Hampden-Sydney College, Green Front Furniture, the High Bridge Trail State Park, and The Fishin' Pig, the best barbeque in Virginia!

Awesome

It was exceptional from the time we opened the front door to our last coffee on the front porch. Every detail was thought out. The grounds were kept prestine and so peaceful. Can't say enough about Bella Vista.

Holiday Lake 50k and getaway

Stunning. It's a perfect piece of land, with an incredible view. The house was perfectly furnished and kept and we had everything we could need and then some, truly all the comforts of home. The comfort and serenity were luxurious even. We had zero issues in everything and Donna was gracious to give us some leeway with checking in and out. Highly recommend!

Just what we needed

So glad we stayed at Bella Vista…we should have stayed longer! Absolute privacy with gorgeous setting and the cleanliness of the home were excellent! Enjoyed the hot tub, playing corn hole, the fire pit and just relaxing. Donna was very good with communication. You will love it here!
