About this property

The beautiful heritage house is the last original farm house in the Cedar Cottage neighbourhood of the Commercial Drive area. This beautiful original character house was built in 1892 and while small has a beautiful open living space. The upper bedroom has a master bed and a large dressing room that can accommodate a supplied additional air bed. The upper bathroom has a large Japanese style jetted soaker tub, while the lower bathroom has a modern shower. The modern kitchen is well appointed and has a dishwasher. The cosy living room has a warm gas fired, cast iron fireplace and a trove of art and reference books to peruse. The backyard of the house is a quiet garden retreat with a great deck for sitting in the sun. The house is located on a major transit line and just 4 blocks from a sky train station that can transport you downtown within 7 minutes. Our location on Victoria Drive puts you within walking distance to great ethnic restaurants and the quirky Commercial Drive restaurant and shopping area.
