Quiet & Comfortable, not perfect but nice
We've been coming up to Whistler more or less annually for the past 15 years. We have yet to find the "perfect" winter skiing accommodation, but this one was certainly nice. It's located in an older building across the street from the grocery store/McDonalds. The advantage is that it's quieter than anywhere else we've stayed in the village and the cost for a 2 bed/2bath was about the same as a 1 bed/1 bath closer to the lifts. This would be quite the trek in stiff ski boots and hauling ski gears, so we choose to rent a ski locker next to the lifts. From the ski locker it was a 10-15 minute walk (in warm comfortable winter boots) back to this condo. It worked out, but I wouldn't do it again. I think this condo is a great location for the summer activities, but a little too inconvenient for me to choose for our next ski trip. As for the condo itself, it was pretty nice. The kitchen and bathrooms had a nice modern feel. The unit was a little dark during the daylight hours since there are big trees shading the windows which are all on one side of the building. They had good wifi, which I definitely took advantage on the day I had to work and was able to take a zoom meeting with no problem. The only thing missing from the kitchen was a pizza baking/cookie sheet and a pizza roller. Ski trip tradition, gotta make a frozen pizza and watch a 1990s era comedy movie. Aside from that, the shower controls in the "master bedroom suite" were tricky and I couldn't find the thermostat.
