Ideal for Nova Scotia Vacations

We stayed at HaliVacay for 4 nights and it was wonderful. The location is ideal for anyone wanting to spend time in Halifax and also wanting to get out of the city easily to explore the rest of Nova Scotia. The main sights of Halifax are within walking distance, and there are so many great places to eat nearby. This home is comfortable, bright, beautiful, spacious and clean. The hosts have made sure evrrything you need for a wonderul stay is accessible, and it is easy to contact them. They are very responsive. Another extra is the small garden and outdoor seating. So nice to have this space while on vacation, something you will never find at a hotel. We will absolutely be back to HaliVacay and recommend it to anyone we know who is headed to Halifax.

Spacious, Comfortable and Bright

We enjoyed our stay in Wendy and Carol’s place on Duncan Street. They made an extra effort to accommodate our schedule and we really appreciated that. The proximity to downtown and to our family in the South End enabled us quick and easy access to the places we needed to be. We enjoyed walking too. The off street parking was a bonus.

Lovely stay!

Wendy and Carol were great hosts; easy check-in, quick responses, and they welcomed us with a nice message for our son (who was competing in the North American Indigenous Games). They even asked mid-way through our stay how he did during competition! The rental was super close to the Commons, easy walking distance to downtown, harbour, restaurants and shopping. Loved that we had a dedicated parking space as well. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again! Thanks, Wendy and Carol!

Beautiful suite

What a beautiful duplex in an excellent location. We rented both the upper and lower duplex for our family. Great place for everyone to get together. The units were well outfitted, walking distance to town and many great restaurants and shopping in the area. Wendy and Carol were great hosts. Thank you again and we will stay with you when we come back to Halifax.

Great property and location to enjoy Halifax

Lovely, clean, and efficient 2-bedroom apartment in a residential, safe, and comfortable area of Halifax. Convenient to Halifax's waterfront (about a mile walk), restaurants, museums, public gardens, and casino. Owers were easy to communicate with and prompt in addressing any questions. The flats on Duncan are central to everything downtown Halifax has to offer. They are eleven years old, have excellent visitor reviews and are fully outfitted as a home away from home. Laundry in the flat, large air jetted tub, smart tv and hosts that want to make your stay the best possible!

Onsite free parking, Fenced yard, in-floor radiant heat, pet friendly and incredibly walkable to all Halifax has to offer. We are close to the Quinpool shopping district, major hospitals and world class universities. Steps from many popular restaurants and the Halifax Common. Quiet neighbourhood but close to everything in central Halifax including local tourist attractions and Halifax's beautiful waterfront. This flat has a lovely, cosy fenced yard and a covered deck. We offer free Netflix and sleeping for 4. There are two bedrooms. Primary has a king bed, secondary has a double bed. Living room has a pop up couch. Kitchen is fully outfitted.
