About this property

We have a lovely spacious one bedroom apartment attached to our house. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a single bed in it and in the living area there is a double sleeper couch and a single bed. The kitchen has a 5 plate gas stove, a microwave, full fridge/freezer and crockery and cutlery. The bathroom is en suite to the bedroom and has a nice size shower, basin and toilet. In front of the unit is BBQ facilities and outside seating for guests. The swimming pool is also available to all guest to enjoy. Parking is behind an automated gate at night and there are cameras outside for added security. The house is in a very quiet area but close to the N1 and all routes to all nearby attractions. In front of the house is a lovely open field and over this field is a few convenient stores. like a Kwikspar, Pizza shop, Chinese fast food and Fish and Chips take away. The unit is ideal for a larger family or close friends who are on a budget.

Albertus and Desire are the owners of the house. We are passionate about Cape Town and love to travel as well. We have been married since 1994 and has two grown daughters. We have decided to modify our house so that we can accommodate tourist and business people travelling to our part of the world. We like to meet new people but also respect all our guest's privacy. We live in the house and is always available to help with tourist plans or insights.

Why they chose this property

The property is in a beautiful quiet area close to all the sites but far enough that is is not a tourist attraction itself and thus peaceful. The house is on a corner plot and has a lovely view over an open field. It is also so nice to take a stroll over the open field and enjoy the mountain views from there. The house has lend itself perfectly for the units, so that people all are on the same property but do not feel that they are in each other's way. The house has a beautiful big swimming pool that is located to the side of the house and is nice and private for guest to use.
