We had 2 small hiccuos, neither a real problem. The fire alarms went off at 3 3p a.m. one morning for an early eaje up call. Upon arrivam, the entry code fid not work. I calked the owner and she resolved it innediately.. overall, very good experience.
Going into this stay, I was very impressed by the constant communication that was given by Brad the owner and Linda the property manager. I was staying in the property for 3 nights total (September 19th-22nd). The first night there was no issues. The second night, our oven stopped working and I called Linda the next morning and she did not answer so I texted her and got an immediate response telling me that they would try to get someone out to look at it but they had us do troubleshooting issues-such as unplugging the oven-which than had a safety setting where it could not be plugged in again. So not only did we not have an oven, we than did not have a stove either. I understood things happen so I let it be. On the third day, the main shower was finally used and the water would not drain at a normal pace and took hours for the tub to finally be empty. I than made Linda aware of this as well. The stay finally ended on the morning of the 22nd and I went home as planned. I messaged Linda on the 24th to see if she could contact to owner to see about any refund-no response. Two weeks came where the $250 refund was to be issued. The email came on the 2 week date stating it was refunded but the money was not pending in my account so I emailed Linda the next day asking about the status of the security refund and also the inconvenience refund for our stay and no response again. She just issued the security deposit refund the next day (after I had to ask). No other refund for the issues that arose during the stay. I normally understand issues like this but the fact that there was NO communication to me-even to say "hey the owner said no inconvenience refund". I would have said "Okay fine, thanks for letting me know". If you pay over two grand to stay somewhere for 3 nights-you expect things to work properly and to be compensated for ANY AMOUNT if it isn't. We had to throw food away and could not have breakfast in the condo as planned and had to spend extra money on going out to eat due to having nothing to use to cook food with. Needless to say, after this negative review, I am positive I will not be getting any other refund. I will never be staying at this property again which is a shame due to prime location but no communication is unacceptable for the price that was paid.
We always strive to make all of our guest's stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. Unfortunately, appliances can malfunction at any time. All properties operate with this unfortunate reality. A technician was called, but not able to get to the property in time.

As far as your security deposit being returned in a timely fashion - HomeAway controls and holds the security deposits and refunds within 2 weeks. That is completely out of the property owners' control.

Perfect spot for visiting OCMD!
Great location! Condo was clean. Very spacious. The bus stops right at the parking lot. For $3 you can ride this bus all day and night. We didn’t use our car at all. We didn’t want to leave! I tried to extend our stay but it was already reserved. I would definitely rent it again!
