About this property

Situated in the quaint town of Mechanicsburg. You will have a private entrance, 2 Bedrooms (Bedroom #1 Queen Bed, Bedroom #2 Bunk Bed and Futon), Full Bath w/Shower, open concept living/dining area with cathedral ceilings make this space feel large on open. Also large window let in lots of natural light. There is also a kitchenette. Our guest house suite, is attached to the hosts primary residence. So we are close by, should you need anything.
Amenities:
Kitchenette with Coffee maker (single cup ground or k-cups), toaster, microwave and refrigerator, Coffee & Tea provided. Also Hair Dryer, Iron & Ironing Board, TV & DVD player, Wireless Internet.
Special Things: Fire pit area available for a relaxing night together to make smores, grill on deck (available upon request).

You can walk to community park, and downtown local cafes/shoppes, only 10-15 minutes drive to Messiah College & Dickinson Colleges, Naval Depot & Carlisle Car Shows. Centrally located with short drive to Harrisburg's Farm Show and City Island(15 min) Roundtop Mountain Adventure/Skiing or HersheyPark(25 min), Gettysburg(30 min) or Lancaster Amish Country(45 min).
Highways: Close to PA Turnpike, Route 15, 81 & 83.

Perfect

We loved this property. Close to everything! We were in town celebrating my daughter’s bday, who is a Messiah student. Our location to her and downtown was perfect. The property is quiet and lovely. We’ve already reserved it again!

Comfortable, beautiful and perfect location!

Had a wonderful stay! Very comfortable and relaxing! We were moving our Messiah Univ student back on campus and the location was absolutely perfect. Loved the quaint downtown area, especially Chef de Crepe on Main Street! Our host was very helpful and responsive in every way, making our stay enjoyable. Will definitely stay again!

Cute, clean and comfortable getaway

I stayed here with my two kids (8 and 9) and my friend for a long weekend. We visited local attractions and found this to be a nice central location for visiting Lake Tobias and Hershey Park. Mardell was friendly and easy to communicate with.

Perfect location, great owner

We stayed for a month visiting local relatives. Location was perfect for our needs and nice to have off street parking in town. Mardell, the owner, was easy to reach when we needed anything done…clean linens and towels or to replenish paper goods. Central A/C and fans kept it cool and the beds were really comfortable. Thanks!

like the quietness; cleanliness; courteous; of the host. the nearness of the BnB to Messiah College where my son graduated is not what I expected, A little more information to the nearest places to see. the heresy's chocolate factory is not what I expected. I thought the store would be selling particular chocolate that is not sold in supermarkets. but all in all everything is all well. fidencio

Roger and I have been married 26 years, and have 5 sons. They attend four different colleges in four different states. Logan is one of our sons and he attends Messiah College. He helps with cleaning the suite and will be available for assistance during times that Roger or myself are not present. Roger works for the US Post Office. I am a manager in the hotel industry, so I know a lot about hospitality. Some of my favorite things include: My love for God, animals and travel to the Caribbean. We are very involved in our church and our relationship with God is very important to us. Last Summer I helped to rescue 20 kittens and found them homes. We enjoy going to the Caribbean for our Anniversary. We have 3 birth sons, and have adopted 5 children over the years, so this has been a big part of our lives. This year our oldest son got married. Roger has lived in Mechanicsburg his entire life, and I joined him 26 years ago. So we can tell you all about the things to do in the area. There are many and you will enjoy yourself:)
