Perfect cabin near The Rocky Mountains National Park
If you’re looking for an adorable cabin in Estes park look no further. The charm of this place is off the charts! Has everything you could need for your stay. Comfortable beds, a big bathroom and laundry. It’s a 5 minute drive to the park and close to some really good restaurants. Eric communicated with us before, during, and after our stay. Very responsive and flexible. If I could have stayed longer I would have! We stayed in 5 different houses and condos during this trip and this was by far our favorite! If I’m ever back this way I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect cozy cabin
The cabin was a wonderful place to stay. Cabin had a great location near the Rocky Mountain entrance. Great communication, owner even came to shovel the driveway and let us know of the road conditions heading out of town.

Great Cabin, Great Views, Great History, Great Hosts
My 11 year old son and I stayed in this cabin March 1-4, 2024. It was our first time to Estes Park. I was blown away with how beautiful the area is. The town sits in a bowl which is an incredible sight when you drive in for the first time. It was a great experience. The cabin was perfect for us. The beds were very comfortable (but would be tight to fit 2 people on one bed if you're a normal sized human), all rooms were well equipped, clean with great carpentry throughout. The view from the deck was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. We saw several groups of mule deer and a big bull elk 50-100 yards from the property. The cabin is conveniently located with a short drive to downtown. We ate at The Post twice out of the 3 nights because it was so good. It snowed the second night we were there and were greeted by the host shortly after we woke up as she was spreading gravel on the walkways and street for safety to keep us from slipping or driving into a ditch. She was great to talk to and very informative. She knows the area and mountain activity well. She probably saved us from getting stuck on the top of Bear Lake by telling us to start heading down by 1 because the wind will pick up. We were up at Bear Lake by 11:00, then around 12:45, the wind started REALLY PICKING UP so we headed down. She told us about the history of the cabin itself which was really interesting. From what I recall, the cabin was originally built in the 1850s or 1870s, then moved, then refinished.

I enjoy rehabilitating cabins to their former glory, some need more attention to detail than others. In the end, I hope that you will enjoy the cabin and it's part of Estes Park history.

Why they chose this property

I have been coming to Estes Park ever since I can remember, and now I have the chance to preserve a bit of it's history. My wife and I fell in love with the panoramic views from the deck and the rest is history! We have refurbished this late 1800’s cabin to it's original grandeur. It was definitely a Labor of Love. Previously, located in the meadow below High Drive. The cabin was moved in the 1930’s, when it was decommissioned as Rocky Mountain National Park housing. We have enjoyed learning the history of the original Estes Park Residents.
The BEST Mountain Views from the cabin's deck and porch can make the minutes melt into hours!
We hope that you enjoy staying here as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

Panoramic views, you can watch the sunrise and sunset across the Rockies without leaving your deck chair.
