Looking to escape with your large family or group?
The Bend of Ivy Lodge sits quietly in the mountains on a private 63-acres. Perfect for families looking to get away to their own mountain paradise but still close enough to the city. Downtown Asheville is an easy 20-minute drive and Weaverville and Marshall are both only 10 minutes away. With access to hiking trails and the Ivy River on the property, this is a truly unique experience you won't find anywhere else.
The lodge is a former tobacco barn that has been renovated to host retreats and large groups. Some of the amenities you'll find at the lodge include:
+ 10 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
+ 2 large open living spaces.
+ Commercial-grade kitchen.
+ Large dining area.
+ TV with internet-enabled streaming device.
+ Fiber-optic WiFi.
+ Access to our 63-acre property! Check below for the full details.
What makes Bend of Ivy Lodge special from almost any other place you can stay in Asheville is the access to our property. Here are just a few of the things that you'll have right outside the door:
+ Access to the Ivy River (Almost a 1/4 mile of riverfront including a perfect grass area for relaxing).
+ Numerous trails and viewing areas to explore nature and look out over the Blue Ridge Mountains.
+ GOATS!
+ Koi pond area. This area includes relaxing sitting areas and a fully-stocked firepit.
+ Need a large, open indoor area for activities? The Pavilion building is perfect for group activities. This space can be added for a small fee, just ask if you're interested.
* You will have access to our property but there are a few restricted areas (active farm, private residence areas, etc.) which we ask that you respect that space. These areas are well marked with signs.
** You MIGHT see other people on the property. We live on the property plus have occasional grounds crew helping, but they will never enter guest lodging areas. Two farmers live/work near farm and river in Private Area spaces. We also have another rental space on our property which MIGHT be rented out. Everyone keeps to themselves and knows not to disturb any guests visiting Bend of Ivy. We want to let every group know that they may see other people here, but there are almost never interactions with other groups.
*** Sorry, NO PETS ALLOWED.
