Manaia View Holiday Bach
A great spot with excellent views. It was lovely to sit out on the deck each morning and take in the view of the beautiful bay. The bach was comfortable and suited our short stay. The cafe next door was a bonus. Great coffee. We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful part of NZ.
Budget style accommodation with basics, with natural surroundings & good views
Great location with natural surroundings, near to beaches and walking tracks. The place lacks facilities with a nosy neighbor - needs a good clean up - and a cutting board.
I don't know what you did but due to your stay I have now implemented a bond for guests. I couldn't get the black stains out of the towels even after soaking them in oxygen bleach for 24 hours. It is an old-fashioned bach - it is advertised as such - and priced as such. The cutting board is built into the kitchen cupboard above the cutlery drawer.
Mosquitoes and ants. Would like screens to be able to leave some windows open
Owner very nice and responsive.
Beautiful view, very relaxing
A lovely little unit with exceptional view of the water. It had everything we needed for a quiet night away. One thing that could be nice would be a fan in the bedroom as it was really hot when we stayed.
Extremely easy check in and check out and it's right next door to a cafe - we had breakfast there and would recommend. Thank you Carolyn!
Lovely to have you stay.
Peaceful with a beautiful view
Located in a nice and quiet spot with an amazing view. Cosy and tidy accommodation - perfect to spend by yourself or with someone else. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and stay again.
Pleasure to have you as a guest.
Cosy with good views!
Great little unit with a large deck and good views over McLeod Bay. A great weekend escape!
Both Mt Aubrey and Mt Manaia provide great views. For a more challenging walk, Mt Lion and Bream Head are part of the te Araroa
continuous 3,000 walkway from Cape Reinga to Bluff.
New Zealand's latest DOC marine reserve is at the end of the Reotahi
road. The combination of deeper water and swift current flows has
produced a diverse reef-fish population unusual for a harbour environment.
Free community guided snorkel days are available in summer.
