About this property

Water views through a canopy of native bush

A typical 50s style original bach, with water views seen through a canopy of native bush. Located in a peaceful area and within a short stroll to the waters edge where you can enjoy water activities with the family at high tide and fishing at low tide. Bach has an open plan studio style layout offering sleeping accomodation for 2 or 4 people, so ideally suited to 2 adults (double bed) and 2 children as there are bunk beds. Raglan offers a mix of activities for one and all - including great beaches, fantastic cafes, unique shopping and great walking to name a few. Or you can just come and hang out at a funky low key family friendly bach ......

NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels);

Cozy little stay
The kids and I arrived a little late but communication before our stay made it easy to locate the key and entry into the house. The kids loved how colourful and how much character the house had. Had all amenities we needed the outdoor space was enough for the kids to explore and for me to relax. We enjoyed the board games that were available for us it was also nice and close to town and the beach which we loved. We would definitely book again if in raglan again. Thank you

Girls Getaway
Adorable, 70's nostalgia bach with beautiful bush to water views. Quiet, serene - just enough space to accommodate three adults. A good base to explore all Raglan has to offer. We will be back!

An experience not to be forgotten
It is a quirky little batch. Very tidy and was impressed with the retro design. There is a lovely dog who visits. The property owner was good to deal with. Close to town but not really walking distance as the road is narrow and steep in places. The batch is on a physical lean which is most noticed in the bathroom. The lean of the property made it difficult to clean the shower properly. Some of the vintage materials resulted in a musty smell. We were unable to open the windows. It was an experience but I would not stay here again.
