For sports lovers there is the Omaha Golf Course if you enjoy a round of golf and 3 sets of 2 tennis courts in the Southern End of Omaha as well as 4 children's play grounds and paths through the dunes which are fun to cycle or jog on. Local Matakana wineries provide an interest to those who enjoy a glass. There's horse riding on Paikiri Beach, which is about a 30 min drive away. On the way to Paikiri Beach there's diving at Goat Island, including a fun trip for the family on a glass bottom boat to explore the reef and its inhabitants.
For those keen on fishing there's a choice of rock, beach or indeed boat fishing. For those who enjoy to shop, the local village in Matakana has some great options and there's good cafes and restaurants too. The local Matakana farmers market is a nice way to start your holiday, with local produce and all sorts of delights. (Wed/Sat).
Please note that the bach does not suit more than 2 couples as the kids bedroom is accessed through one of the double bedrooms and has bunks in it.
