Paula welcomed us with open arms! Aslantis was a joy with beautiful views and everything we needed in the house for a perfect stay. Thank you Paula
It was a joy for also to meet you all.
We'd love to have you back!
Welcoming, peaceful haven
Very comfortable and welcoming beach house with stunning views and a warm sheltered courtyard outback. Everything you need is there and there’s a very good store just a short walk up the road.
The owners were lovely people, friendly and helpful. A great place to relax and recharge.
Stylish and homely
A beautiful home with a lovely ambience inside and outdoors! It's obvious that the owners take good care of the property, and put a lot of effort into maintaining it. Clean and tidy, with everything one needs for comfort. The owners are very welcoming, and we appreciated the extra treats and care that exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Paula, for being a marvellous host!
It was a pleasure meeting you both.
We're looking forward to seeing you again!
Greek oasis near Napier
The place has a great atmosphere, especially outdoors, where there is a lovely cactus garden and a separate courtyard where one can barbecue and dine in privacy, surrounded by grapes and geraniums.
The house is well appointed and comfortable, with a nice view over the road, of the ocean.
The TV is basic NZ and useless. The internet connection speed is marginal, but that may be improved as the municipality was putting in new underground cabling when we were there. There are however, numerous eclectic CD's of old movies which may tickle your fancy.
Walking on the beach is tricky as it is composed of a myriad of tiny rocks but good exercise. One of us kept picking up the rocks as souvenirs!!!
About a 20 minute drive to either Hastings or Napier. The whole area is quite isolated from the rest of New Zealand.
We, an older couple, did really enjoy our 2 week stay there.
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Aslantis Beach House.
Haumoana is indeed such a special place: turquoise seas and stunning sunsets and the rugged east coastline.
Being relatively close to the twin cities Hastings and Napier plus Havelock North is a great advantage, along with award winning wineries and great cycle tracks.
As discussed, we don't have Sky, but as you've said, there's DVD's galore.
NZ TV has it's own parochial charm!
Wifi is adequate and will no doubt improve.
We look forward to seeing you both in the future.
The house was really well equipped with everything we needed and more!
The house was really well equipped with everything we needed and more! It was super clean and comfortable and the setting is really nice. Very close to local shops and a great coffee cart, plus just along the road from several excellent vineyards and local points of interest.

The property is very charming, with a lovely deck looking out over Haumoana Beach. It also has a court yard that is a beautiful space to sit in with large shutters that open out towards the sea. The house is well equipped with everything you need. The area, Haumoana is well positioned in the greater Napier area to visit all the tourist spots. We would thoroughly recommend this property!
