Sunny, self contained cute cottage, easy to find. Set in beautiful garden surroundings only a short 10 minute drive from either Taupo township or Kinloch village/lakefront or the National Equestrian Centre, so we are very central.
Kinloch has amazing mountain bike tracks and the famous WK2 track plus stunning walks.
A handy thing to note is that Rotorua, with all the amazing geothermal activities is only a short drive away (just under 1hour from the cottage), so why not stay a little longer and unpack and base yourselves in our lovely peaceful surroundings and take a day trip to Rotorua as alot of our guests do when they stay with us. Saves unpacking twice :)
The dining/kitchen area contains a small cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, TV and DVD. The bedroom contains a comfy double bed and a 3/4 set of bunks is located in another common area. Stunning country views can be enjoyed from the bedroom and sunny deck while enjoying a wine or beer.
Our friendly, playful cat Bella is always loved by guests and children alike.
A sunny, peaceful, private rural retreat with plenty of room for safe parking of boats etc.
Some of the adventure activities awaiting holiday makers in the Taupo area are skydiving, bungy jumping, white water rafting, mountain bike riding etc (brochures available).
With so many local attractions on offer only a short drive nearby e.g. Huka Falls, jet boating, Prawn Park, Kinloch beach, Thermal pools, Craters of the moon geothermal valley, fantastic mountain biking/bush walking tracks or day trips to the ski fields etc it is easy to find plenty to do to enjoy this beautiful unique area.
