Why Helen Sheat chose Whangaripo
We fell in love with Matakana, the bush and so many beaches in close proximity. Plus its a very 'Arty' area and it is great to see what people are creating and be part of that.
What makes this Chalet unique
Surrounded by stunning bush of the Matakana hills: walks close by.

Enjoyed the hot tub. Relaxing place to stay. Thanks.
Loved our stay at this little hideout just outside of Matakana. The hosts were lovely, and the property was perfect. Highly recommended.
So glad you enjoyed your stay, lovely to meet you!
Fabulous - as good as it looks in the photos!
A wonderful getaway spot handy to Matakana. Thoughtful hosts provided excellent directions and even some chocolates :-)
Thankyou for your feedback and so glad you enjoyed your stay!
What a wonderful secluded spot. Great for a quite weekend away.
A lovely lond weekend
We had a lovely long weekend here, made better by a fabulous storm, experienced from the spa pool! The location is secluded but close enough to Matakana to enjoy the market and everything else on offer. Highly recommend cycling the community trail from matakana to Omaha and Point Wells. The best thing about Tui Barn was we could take our dogs on a wee holiday too. Thanks, Helen!
Really enjoyed my stay. Needed a little break where I did have to meet anyone else's need for a couple of days and the property provided just that opportunity - peace and privacy. The spa was a big plus.
I'll be back
Based close to Leigh Marine park (Goat Island)for snorkelling and diving and multiple beautiful local beaches. Multiple wineries can be visited individually or on tours. There is a focus on local art galleries, Morris and James Pottery also within the area.
Unique boutique cinema within Matakana village is well worth a visit.
