This is a compact and private unit ideal for a small family of 4. Close walk to Cooks beach and the Purangi estuary. Drive to Ferry landing and short ferry ride to Whilitanga with supermarket, art galleries and an assortment of stores and shops. 5 to 10 minute drive to beautiful Lonely Bay and surrounding bushwalks. Other beautiful nearby beaches include Hot Water Beach (take a spade, dig then relax in a hot pool), remote Cathedral Cove near Hahei Beach.

Nice little original Bach, no frills like a time machine, but was cheap, and clean, was happy.

Old fashioned, but what we want a genuine NZ experience.

A hidden gem

Graham’s bach at Cooks Beach was just what we were looking for this weekend. Nice and close to Purangi river for the kids and in a quiet family oriented area so napping the baby and entertaining the toddler was just perfect. Thanks for having us to stay!
