Flaxmere House is located in Auckland near Bethells Beach, Waitakere Ranges with a tranquil setting and views of Bethells Valley. This Executive 5 star Holiday House was designed all on one level of 440m2 floor area on a private 10 acres.

If you’re looking for a place for a special occasion or a holiday to hold a special function (prices above accommodation rates for events) with all the mod cons this is the place to enjoy the good life. This home is one of the best houses in Bethells and is a place you will remember. Near the popular Bethells Beach and Bethells Lake, Waitakere Golf Club, Kumeu vineyards and restaurants.

We can cater for small to medium size weddings approx 20-80 guests and sleeps 20 people, consisting of 9 bedrooms, 3 separate bathrooms, 2 lounges, plus a 90m2 closed in outside lounge with cabana spa area, and beautiful polished concrete floors.

Enjoy a great stay and have the option of waiters and servants to make your stay stress free. Optional staff available to clean and tidy for you so you can have a holiday that gives you nothing but relaxation and time with the family and friends. The 90m2 outside lounge is fully closed in, with an elegant gourmet kitchen and open living areas that are great for entertainment. This venue is a must to view for that occasion.

We also do complete Wedding and Function packages for your special event where we can organise everything that you require for your time at Flaxmere House.

If you are overseas and you want to organise a wedding or celebration we can plan and work with you go arrange your special day. We have contractors such as - Photographers, Hair and Makeup Artists, Florists, Celebrants, Dj's, Nail Technician.

We also use Madison Linen which is used in all major hotels so you experience good quality linen for your time here.

We provide hand and body soap, toilet paper, and in the kitchen - Tea/Coffee/Sugar Salt and Pepper.

Beautiful place with plenty of room

Had a wonderful time over new years. The place was over all very elegant, the rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. Loved the air conditioning on the hot summer days. The spa was a treat. Even though it rained, we barely noticed because there was so much space inside, and lots of covered areas outside. Looking forward to coming back 🙂

Amazing place - best views and location

Had the best weekend with our family after being separated for so long overseas. The views the location and the property was amazing and catered for our family getaway. Vanessa is an awesome host. Great with communications. Always available online and is great to deal with in person. Very warm and welcoming, and accommodating to our needs. Would highly recommend this property for events or purely for a family getaway. Thanks Vanessa for your great services and hosting us so well.

My Name is Vanessa and I am the Manager and Event Host for your time when you stay at Flaxmere House. My experience comes from Staging when I was in Real Estate for 9 years then now been doing weddings for 9 years I have an eye for detail and make all bookings and events look the way the guest wants the property to look and feel. We are very passionate about our food. My Husband Dallas slow cooks our meats and we specialise in slow cooked Brisket/lamb/pork/chicken/Salmon as well as Ham on the bone. All our food is prepared onsite and is fresh by local suppliers. We use hotel linen for the comfort of your stay at Flaxmere House. Our staff are family if not related are very close to us, and we strive for making the venue and accommodation feel very homely, warm and welcoming.

Why they chose this property

There are very few properties in Auckland and this close to the CBD who have consent for up to 20 people to reside privately at one venue/accommodation. We also have consent to host events of up to 80 people. To be able to have a private booking where you do not share the place with anyone else but yourselves and our staff gives this a great advantage in providing your time with us to the best privacy you can have. We can cater all your meals or just some of when you stay here. Majority whom stay for a weekend will have both self and catered meals, all events are to be catered by us above 20 people due to the management of our facilities, we have a full secured place with CCTV and private well off the road to make you feel peaceful and comfortable. We have so many options for the time you wish to stay here and we highly recommend you reaching out and talking with Vanessa about your requirements as we look after each client on a case by case basis to design the dream getaway or hosting an event on behalf.
