Overnight stay in Gisborne
Easy to find. Lovely modern little unit. Loved the mosaic artworks.
Accommodation is clean, quite and no fuss. The fire alarm did start to beep during the last night, needs a battery change. There wasn't enough milk for one day and no soap in the shower and refill shampoo/ext was empty. Please put in a TV.
Decent little cottage within a very short drive from the CBD
very relaxed accommodating host, my mate said shower a little small for big people but plenty of room otherwise in cottage
The cottage is set behind a lovely 1930s Californian styled bungalow in a quiet palatial safe suburb of Gisborne
Having such a lovely inviting host here makes such a big difference compared to the likes of many hotel managers
Clean, neat and comfy bed!
We enjoyed our stay in Gisborne. Susan’s cottage was a welcoming spot after a day of driving. It was nice to be able to sit outside with a glass of wine and enjoy the lovely yard and sweet dog.
Good location & comfortable stay
Reasonably sized garden flat convenient for cafes and shops
One or two things need some thought. The door lock on the patio doors is difficult to operate. The back burner on the two burner hob is too close to the back wall to be useful.
The rooms are a great size with plenty of storage space, free wifi works fine.
The potential for self catering somewhat limited due to lack of microwave or oven
