About Ginny and Peter
We are a married couple with 4 children each who are regular visitors to our home.
Ginny and Peter purchased this Chalet in 2014
Why Ginny and Peter chose Puhoi
We moved from the Auckland suburbs in 2015 to this property in Puhoi where we have undertaken extensive renovation and landscaping. We love the peace and privacy of the countryside but the closeness to the city. Our own little piece of paradise.

Great Getaway Spot
Thank you Ginny and Peter! What a great little getaway spot you have up there in Puhoi.
We spent two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed the stay, from the complimentary breakfast (and yummy homemade jam) , to the comfortable bed. Lovely shower and fabulous spa :)
The space was so quiet and cosy, am sure it would also be an absolute treat in the summer as well.
Thanks again! Would absolute stay again and recommend to those looking for some time out from hustle and bustle :)
Great get a way, great spot in the bush, warm owners, spa is cosy, chalet very nice. Many thanks will come again
The place was perfect!
I really enjoyed my stay here, the house was very nice and clean. The spa was the best part, I definitely recommend this place. 10/10
Lovely chalet, on a gorgeous property surrounded by native birds and beautiful gardens. Super comfy bed and a nice little continental breakfast provided. Was great to be able to use the Spa at this time of year also :)
Enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay and will definitely reccomend it to others, it was very relaxing
Puhoi is an historic village with a General Store, famous Puhoi Pub, NZ's smallest library, museum and tea rooms. There is the Puhoi Cheese Factory to visit for lunch, wine, coffee or ice-cream. Additionally you can hire a kayak down the Puhoi River.
