A Great Property for Young Families Looking to Explore Rotorua
A great property for young families looking to explore rotorua. A beautiful remote location, but still close enough to reach the amenities and local attractions. We will definitely be booking again.
Great location, great stay
Surrounded by green forest, extremely quiet night, warm and clean cottage! Love it!
This place was lovely, it was cosy and warm, safe and secure and a great place to come back to after a long day out! The hosts were easy to deal with and we felt very well looked after.
Lovely little place to stay
Had a great couple of days staying at Christine and Nigel's lovely self contained Bach. They have everything you could possibly need or think of and we really liked the homely, charming decor.
Just what we needed for an Autumn mini break. Wonderful to have the use of the kayaks. The feedback log is a testimony to Christine and Nigel's commitment to continuously improving what they offer here in this little gem of a place. Thank you both for a lovely stay.
Small, cozy apartment in beautiful Lake Okareka, just outside of Rotorua. Surrounded by native bush, wake to the sound of native birds outside your window. A short stroll to the lake with kayaking, walking tracks and fishing available. Rotorua is a 10 minute drive away, with a host of restaurants, Maori cultural and adventure activities. We are five minutes drive from the Redwoods Forest, which is famous for its mountain-biking trails. The Blue Lake is just over the hill, which has lovely walking tracks and frequently hosts sporting events both on and off the water. Head 10 minutes towards Tarawera and you have the Buried Village museum and cafe, where you can learn about the volcanic eruption, or watch the sun set over the mountain, while you have dinner at Tarawera Landing.
