Waitarere Beach is an expansive yet safe beach for swimming, fishing and water sports. There is plenty to explore - bring your mountain bikes to hit the forest, walking shoes for long walks along the beach and tennis rackets for the free tennis courts. The village has an excellent 4-square with amazing fresh pastries, pies and breads (and huge ice-creams!). The bach is well situated to access all of these. The bach has an open plan living space with a heat pump for the cooler months, and air conditioning for those hot nights. An upstairs loft is a great chill out zone with a stereo and large CD collection. This opens out onto a large sunny deck which is a perfect place to relax with friends and family - from breakfast through to dinner.
Steep inside staircase, could be unsuitable for very young children, pre-schoolers would need active supervision.
NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels);
