Clean, comfortable, peaceful, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday with or without kids.
There’s a short drive to Coromandel town for groceries, cafes, restaurants, tourist attractions including the famous Driving Creek railway – a must for kids!
This much loved family getaway, which is about to turn 60, was the inspiration for the hit stage comedy “The Bach.”
There’s no TV or DVD player (though the cell phone reception is so good you can stream pretty much anything you want to watch). This is old school: people talking to each other as they admire the view, and strumming on my old guitar as they sing along to Hello Sailor’s “Lie On The Sand.”
We are on tank water so please conserve water.
No tents, caravans, campervans etc.
Smoking outside only.
