Ideal Coastal Retreat with something for everyone

A little part of paradise, nestled in amongst native bush, with 180 degree sea views, with Tui's, and wood pigeons regular visitors.

An entertainers delight, modern open plan kitchen with 3 expansive decks to entertain in all weather.

Plenty of toys and activities to entertain the kids, 3 kayaks provided, access to the tennis court 5 minutes walk.

Note: the bay is tidal, while the tide is in enjoy the water activities, when the tide is out enjoy the expansive bay by foot, sand golf, rock pool explorations.

or just relax in the spa enjoying a local wine or beer.

Plenty of room to big your own toys (ample parking for boat)

As gateway to the stunning Tawharanui Peninisula, Matakana, Omaha district and Kawua Bay, there is plenty to see and do.

Fabulous family retreat

Sea, bird & bush relaxation deluxe

Wonderful place to stay with spectacular views of the ocean, bush & bird life. Kayaking up the river was an added bonus. A well laid out home with many treasures to explore. We hope to be back again soon!

Perfect paradise

Pauline was amazing at communicating during the Auckland lockdown where we had to keep changing dates and so accomodating. The house was perfect for us to celebrate a 70th birthday with plenty of space and different entertaining areas. The view at high tide is breathtaking and we really wouldn’t have had to leave the house at all. We loved the table tennis and games provided. It was exactly what we needed - thank you from Linda and guests

Property is great, everything was as described and the view is amazing. The Bach is really well stocked with activities and kitchen pots/pans/glasses. The beds were all made beautifully. Its a super comfortable space to relax in and enjoy the view, highly recommend

The place with everything!

A lovely place to stay with plenty to do .. sadly had to leave early and didn’t get to have the spa with glasses of wine but we enjoyed the birds (wow) and the trees. A beautiful setting. Our dog loved it too!

What a fabulous location and peaceful outlook - we loved watching the tide drift in and out between visits to vineyards, the market and beachwalks. Loved listening to the birds in the trees too. Thanks for sharing your special home with us.

Beautiful Seaside/ Bush Retreat with a cook's kitchen!

We loved the incredible view of the water and the gorgeous bush surrounding the bach. Watching the kererus and tuis flit around while the tide goes in and out, creates an incredible natural rhythm to one's daily activities. The kitchen was very well outfitted with all that we could want to bake and cook and the espresso machine was such a lovely surprise! We enjoyed the spa after playing in the bay and also under the stars at night. The furnishings were lovely but more importantly, (travelling with children), they were sturdy and well-suited to a space that is used by many different people. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of warm blankets and heaters if needed so we were all very comfortable during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely loved stying at this Bach. It was the perfect location, a nice quite beach but still only 10 mins drive from Matakana and Tauwharanui. the birdlife and the view is amazing, thanks for having us

Great weekend escape

Peaceful with everything you need kids loved it

We were a family/friends group with children across wide age group - mostly teenagers, the property was well set up with plenty to keep everyone occupied, it was peaceful with lovely views, and not too far to drive from Auckland with Matakana Markets and local OBV vineyard a must do. Thank you for the perfect weekend escape. We would love to do this trip again.

Peaceful retreat stocked with fun activities

We loved this place and would come back in a heartbeat. From the stunning views to relaxing hot tub and lots of space for family members to find peace and quiet. Kitchen was stocked with all the gadgets you'd need/want. Great communication from Pauline too.
