Cute house with very attentive hostes
We had a very easy and cost stay at this very cute house. Everything you need, central but quiet. Vivien answered all questions very quickly and made it all easy.
Fantastic Home Away From Home
Comfortable little cottage with everything we needed. Short walk to the Main Street and even shorter walk to a great little coffee kiosk (in a shipping container) at the end of the road. Vivien was lovely.
Retro in quiet location.
Light and airy 50s styled home - great location for cycling with 3 different trails starting from the end of the road. Comfortable beds and good shower. Really liked the fact that milk, bread, butter, tea and coffee were waiting for us.
A Little Gem
This house was close to town and close to the Huraki Rail Trail but in a quiet cul-de-sac with a beautiful garden - just perfect for sleeping, relaxing, cycling, and exploring Paeroa. I'd describe it as "funky" with mismatched curtains and cutlery, but beds were comfortable, and it was well equipped with everything we might need. The host was available for questions and accommodating when we wanted to store our bikes overnight.
A lovely character home in quiet surroundings with beautiful gardens yet just a few minutes to all the shops, doctors, takeaways and the iconic L & P bottle. Viv is an excellent host who is very approachable and answered all our queries and leaves you alone to enjoy the property. The beds are very comfortable and the cottage has everything you need. Our pets 10 year old cat Boston and 5 year old King Charles Cavalier Buddy also enjoyed their stay . Loving the beautiful crockery and cutlery that is in character with this cottage.
Paeroa is called the best little town in the middle of everywhere. There are cycle trails in all directions. A good golf course just up the rd. The nearest beautiful beach is only a quick 25 minutes and then you can drive to sooo many up in the stunning coromandel peninsula. Paeroa itself has alot of great antique shops and alot of good eateries. Just down the rd is the Karangahaki george that use to have gold mining..now is a tourist destinantion with alit of history and wonderful bush walks.
