Cottage, 1 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, (Sleeps 2)
Hi there I have been in Northland since April 2016. I was previously teaching in Auckland. I've always wanted to run a lifestyle/B&B and now I am realising my dream. Originally from the UK, I have been in New Zealand since 2000 and just love it. My career has spanned Advertising to Dressmaking and Teaching - I like a bit of variety. I enjoy music, reading, writing, discussion, cooking, hospitality, animals and nature of course. I adore this property and have enjoyed learning to look after chickens and cattle. Everyone who comes here remarks on how beautiful and peaceful it is. I use Wwoofers to help keep things looking good. Come visit. You will love it!

Why Shivvy3156 chose Kaeo
This property is not visible from the road. It was a pleasant surprise, although it did need a bit of upgrading. I sat on the deck looking the valley beyond and the tension just drained out of me and that was it. I knew I wanted to live here.
What makes this Cottage unique
Easily take a day trip to 90 mile beach and Cape Reinga and enjoy any of the beautiful beaches along the way. Don't forget to stop in at Monganui for their famous Fish and Chips. Matauri Bay and Te Ngaere Bay are fabulous and very close by. If you like water, there is also Beautiful Lake Manuwai just down the road and , of course the splended Rainbow Falls. Our location is excellent for seeing the Northland sights. On State Highway 10, close to State Highway 1 - and only 3.5 hrs to Auckland

Absolutely loved it
At this price point you honestly could not ask for anything more. Fabulous setting, gorgeous little cottage (with really thoughtful touches), good location for exploring Kerikeri, Paihia and the far north, super clean and tidy and a lovely host. Recommend it without hesitation ps we miss Jackson already
A peaceful cottage in the countryside
We stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful relaxing time in the countryside. Sitting on the deck and looking out across the farmland and hills was simply lovely. Our dog was welcomed and also enjoyed his stay. Siobhan was a very welcoming host and we'll be back!
Nice people running it, easy to get kerikeri and north site seeing.
Terrific location with the most amazing outlook over the boutique vineyard. The hosts Siobhan and Jackson are fantastic. The cottage is cozy and well equipped.

Peaceful, quiet and hospitable
A great place for a few quiet days away, with a great, friendly host. Also a good, well placed base for exploring all that Northland has to offer.
We are in a great location to make the best of Northland. 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle and traffic of Kerikeri, you can easily access local amenities and beauty spots - Just ask your host, Siobhan
