Lovely quiet getaway
Great communication from Peter and Fiona. Very helpful.
Great location and space. Old school charm with modern touches
We stayed with 4 children and loved it. Large kitchen, amazing fire, good sized bedrooms and everything you needed in the house. The table tennis table in the garage was a hit with the kids. Place is just a short stroll to the main street of Greytown. Excellent communication from the managers made everything a breeze. The house is 140 years old so had the expected creaky floorboards etc, but the modern touches in the kitchen and bathroom make it very comfortable. Loved it, thanks 😀
Fantastic bach in a very handy location
we had another lovely stay here, thank you so much. This place is beautiful, clean and cosy. Great for families, lovely garden and a big garage with a table tennis table. Short walk to very pretty Greytown. Loved it, thank you.
Cosy, comfy stay
We loved staying at the property for Mother’s Day weekend. From the moment we walked in, it was tidy and nice smelling! We lit the fire and turned on the panel heaters in the bedrooms and it was super warm in no time. We absolutely loved our stay in such a special Greytown Heritage house. We appreciated the little touches in the rooms. Would definitely stay again x
Lovely warm home for our 6 night stay
Our family of 7 arrived to a clean and welcoming home. It was cool so we set the fire and were soon toasty warm. This home has some quirks (toilets occupying unusual spaces) but was quite well suited to our needs. The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been another shower (for 7 people one full bathroom is doable but not ideal) and a microwave. We had assumed that there would be one but we managed to improvise with a full kitchen in other regards. Beds were comfortable and rooms were cosy on cool autumn nights. The wooden floors provide character but we did notice it was noisy downstairs when anyone walked upstairs...probably because this lovely old character home has a single floor between stories and no insulation. Great to have a washing machine and dryer for our week long stay. Proximity to shops and restaurants was great...just a short 5-10 min walk. We'd happily stay here again. Thank you Peter & Fiona.
Quality character property
Lovely place for a family visit.
