Cottage, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathrooms, (Sleeps 4)
We were drawn here because it held the pieces of a new era for us. Raw but with potential, northfacing (Kiwi sunny site). Water/streams/bush/rural/private yet close to the sort of infrastructure that we all interact with towns with interesting people and history.
VivienneCr2 purchased this Cottage in 2002
Why VivienneCr2 chose Coromandel Forest Park
We have built this haven from scratch, literally. We have created a place where self sufficiency, eco, organic come together in an earth based connection of luxury.
What makes this Cottage unique
Stare gaze at night, glow worms handy to the driveway. Most people just love the peace. The quiet tranquil native forest outlook, the exclusivity of the booking, a place to just be. For the extra motivated there are rock climbs, bush walks and historic site exploring. Allow time to take away your busyness for a while, reflect and restore your wellbeing. Eat/read/rest repeat. (walking is optional)
Please consider the following guidelines when booking this property:
No refunds for cancellations made after payment is made
Absolutely phenomenal property with amazing service and stellar hosts. Best that I ve seen yet.
Tim and Vivienne are stunning, and the house is much better than advertised. Highly recommended as a headquarters for a week of exploring the area, romantic couples retreat, writing retreat, or even a group retreat space. Can t say enough for it
Thank you!, It's great to know we filled/exceeded your expectations, and that life holds a few surprises for those that head off the beaten track.Earthbridge stiiness allows a restful contemplation space for those who choose to step off reassess and reconnect.
Clean, tidy, full of character.
Clean, tidy, full of character. Loved the outdoor bath, the tranquility of the property and it’s closness to swimming holes. We went in summer but would be cosy in Winter. We will definitely be back.
Earthbridge is 10 kilometers towards the Eastern ranges from Hikutaia, up the Maratoto Valley. Hikutaia is on the Hauraki Rail Trail 10 kilometres from Paeroa and 20 kilometres from Kopu (near Thames). The Valley itself is full of walking tracks, tracks to waterfalls, to old mining relics, to lovely cool streams (Summer delights) where natural, secluded swimming beckons. We know the area intimately and believe that just staying put in the Valley is the first step to a relaxed tech free break.
