Hello! I'm Julie and I've been living here in Queenstown for almost 20 years and during my time here I've worked in the local tourism industry. I've also been fortunate enough to have enjoyed experiences with the majority of all the local activities. So.. if you're looking for a local who can give you some top tips and handy hints on how to spend your time here in Queenstown, from vineyards, to walking tracks, to activities and restaurants, I'd be very happy to help you with suggestions. I've also travelled extensively around the region and South Island so feel free to pick my brain for suggestions on the next part of your journey. I believe in living life to the full, love the outdoors and am a firm believer that life is to be lived and that the real secret of life is quite simply 'happiness'! My hobbies are travelling, yoga, cycling, mountain biking, walking on the local tracks, rowing, snowboarding in winter, gardening.. or relaxing with the views and a good music playlist or book! I love peace and quiet.. and I love living in the mountains. I have a beautiful, gentle hearted chocolate labrador called Maggie. Maggie's now 18 months old and goes with me everywhere.. Maggie loves walking, joining me for bike rides, swimming in the lake and, of course, puppy cuddles! I'm originally from the UK and love it here in New Zealand .. I originally came here as a traveller almost 20 years ago I never left! I've now made New Zealand my home and am now a Kiwi Citizen...

Was a great stay and met our needs perfectly!
No complaints from us
Steep drive up the hill, was easy to find with GPS, modern unit block. Unit was clean, well appointed, modern, well stocked with all you need, ( loo paper, soaps, shampoo, tea coffee, etc) 2 bed 2 bath was ideal. All bedding, towels good quality. View of surrounds and gondola was relaxing with partial water view from deck. Plenty heat for cold climate. Heated towel rails in bathrooms. Came with a car park. Is within walking distance of main town area but is a steep climb back up! Best value in Queenstown for what u get. Highly recommend.
Beautiful, Clean & Convenient
We stayed at this place with our two young children in early April and it was absolutely perfect. The communication from the host was great and the home itself is clean, comfortable and in a great location for exploring Queenstown. We would stay here again without question.
Clean, modern, comfortable.
Clean, new, comfortable and spacious.
Delivered on the promise!
It was a lovely stay! Can't find a negative thing to say about it at all! Great location to the sites and walk to pier. Julie was lovely and got back to us right away when we had questions. Would stay here again!!
The unit was modern and beautifully presented
The unit was modern and beautifully presented. It was comfortable and warm with an amazing view of both the lake and the mountains. Julie also provided us with a great list of recommended cafes and restaurants and the bathroom and kitchen offered plenty of staples for travelers. A wonderful place to stay and I would highly recommend it!
Queenstown, New Zealand, sits on the shores of the South Island’s Lake Wakatipu, set against the dramatic Southern Alps. Renowned for adventure sports, it’s also a base for exploring the region’s vineyards and historic mining towns. There's bungee jumping off Kawarau Gorge Suspension Bridge and jet-boating on the Shotover and Dart rivers. In winter, there's skiing on the slopes of The Remarkables and Coronet Peak.
