Highly Recommend

This beautiful lock wood home was so peaceful and private up on the hill. It felt very safe and comfortable. There was plenty of room for 8 of us. It really felt like another home away from home. It had everything you could need and more. Our kids enjoyed feeding the horses and playing chess. Would definitely stay again. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Had a lovely time

Had a lovely stay, The house worked well for our large family! saw the most beautiful sunsets and the animals are really friendly! Would recommend for a peaceful getaway. Quite a trip to Napier/Hastings though .. overall was a lovely stay!

Perfect countryside bach

Child friendly accommodation, friendly horses kept the kids(and adults) entertained, huge indoor and outdoor space. The house had everything you may need, and if you need anything else the owner Christine was very quick to respond. The weather was not the best when we went there but the house had books, toys, tv to keep us all busy. All in all a great home away from home. Oh and did I mention that Christine was awesome? The kids loved chatting with her about their first (and her 20+ years!) countryside living experiences. We will be back!
